Please note that it is not necessary to re-register a cat that is already registered elsewhere in your name as owner.   When such a cat is used for breeding, the pedigree and registration details are captured on our database as a free service, but no registration certificate is issued.  If a printed and certified pedigree/registration is required, the fee is R50.00/7.00 Euro.    It is possible to re-register a cat with a CASA registration number, at the standard cost and by using the standard registration form, but not a requirement and the exception, rather than the rule.

All of the above include ordinary mail within South Africa to the breeder or previous owner.  The breeder, or previous owner should send or deliver to the new owner, after checking for any errors.  It is absolutely essential to have a reliable postal address for all breeders and owners of CASA registered cats.   If no postal delivery is available at a residential address, the owner should provide an alternative postal address, which can be used and will be printed on certificates.

Scanning and sending registration certificate as e-mail attachment, in addition to posting is included in the price of registration.

Surcharge per registration application, when forms incomplete, the instructions not being followed, or old forms used, etc., leading to enquiries from Registrar.
R50.00   Other Countries Euro 7.00

The above services are also available to members from other countries, but fees are adjusted according to the cost of postage.   Enquire directly to the Registrar for the specific fee at the time of service.
Payment from overseas only possible in Euro via PayPal.
